There are some venues that immediately make you feel this is us. Wythe Hotel becomes this type of space a lot for intimate weddings.
With its exposed brick walls, soaring windows, and iconic Manhattan skyline views, the Wythe Hotel has all the ingredients for a wedding that feels stylish, laidback, and unmistakably New York. But what I love most about it is that it works just as beautifully for a very small guest count as it does for a sightly larger but still intimate celebration.
If you’re planning an intimate wedding and haven’t yet checked out the Wythe Hotel , this Brooklyn gem should absolutely be on your shortlist.
Why I Love the Wythe Hotel for Intimate Weddings
At Small Shindigs, I specialize in weddings that feel meaningful, personal, and beautifully uncomplicated.
The Wythe Hotel is a perfect fit for that kind of celebration. It has all the elements I’m always looking for in an intimate wedding venue:
A space that feels special without being over the top
Incredible food your guests will actually rave about
Built-in character and gorgeous natural light
On-site accommodations
A location that gives your guests the full Brooklyn experience
And perhaps most importantly, it never feels too big for a smaller wedding, which can be hard to find.
The Best Spaces for a Small Wedding at the Wythe Hotel
One of the things that makes the Wythe Hotel so versatile is that you can tailor the experience to your guest count and priorities.
The Penthouse Loft
If the skyline view is what drew you to the venue, this is likely the space you’re picturing.
The Penthouse Loft features floor-to-ceiling windows and a private terrace overlooking Manhattan. It’s dramatic in the best possible way and ideal for ceremonies, cocktail hours, or full wedding receptions. There’s also another great suite on the same floor that you can book for beautiful getting ready photos.
The Cellar
For couples who want a moodier, more intimate feel, the Cellar is absolutely magical.
With exposed brick, arched ceilings, and chandeliers, it feels cozy, romantic, and perfectly suited to a candlelit dinner. If you’ve had your ceremony elsewhere and simply want a private dinner space, this is a great choice.
My Favorite Combination
If your budget allows, one of my favorite setups is:
Ceremony, cocktails and dancing in the Penthouse Loft
Dinner in the Cellar
You get the best of both worlds: iconic views and a warm, intimate dinner-party atmosphere.
How Much Does a Wythe Hotel Small Wedding Cost?
Pricing for a Wythe Hotel intimate wedding varies depending on:
Guest count
Day of the week
Time of year
Food and beverage selections
Space rental choices
As a luxury Brooklyn venue, it is an investment, but couples often find it well worth it for the quality of the space, food, and overall experience.
Off-peak wedding food and beverage minimums for weekends (November- April) range from $10-12k while peak minimums range from $12-$15k. A weekday wedding can offer even more flexibility while delivering the same stunning setting.
Menu pricing ranges from $328-$418pp.
Is The Wythe Hotel Right For Your Wedding?
The Wythe Hotel is an ideal venue if you want:
A Brooklyn wedding venue with skyline views
A stylish space for 20–100 guests
Outstanding food
On-site accommodations
A wedding that feels intimate and effortless
It’s especially well suited for couples who care about design, food, and creating an experience that feels authentic to them.
