Affordable Hudson Valley Wedding Venues

Hudson Valley, NY is a perfect nature-filled, boho destination for New York couples looking to get out of the city. From barns to estates, there is a little something for everyone. While there are no shortage of venues, I’m rounding up a list for those of you looking for an affordable venue for your intimate Hudson Valley or Catskills wedding.

Blue Mountain Manor

Where: Saugerties, NY

Capacity: 125 people

Why: Blue Mountain Manor is a great venue for those looking for that summer camp vibe. There are paddle boats, a volley ball court and a barn that’s already set with romantic string lighting.

Rental Fee: $5,000

Bell Tower Venue

Where: Rosendale, NY

Capacity: 120 people

Why: Amazing arched windows give a super cool vintage, gothic vibe while letting in lots of natural light. There’s also a built-in stage for your ceremony and/or band!

Rental fee: $3,700

Emerson Resort and Spa

Where: Mount Temper, NY

Capacity: 150 people

Why: The waterfront property is perfect for those looking for a place with sleeping accommodations on-site.

Rental Fee: $2,500

Bykenhulle House

Where: Hopewell Junction, NY

Capacity: 80 people

Why: Perfect setting for “country chic” couples. The inn itself can sleep up to 10 people so stay with your immediate family or wedding party!

Rental Fee: $3,500

Locust Grove Estate

Where: Poughkeepsie, NY

Capacity: 150

Why: Sitting on top of a hill overlooking the Hudson River, this venue’s location makes it easy for city-dwellers to hop on the train directly to Poughkeepsie. If you have under 40 people, there’s an even small venue on-site to use!

Rental fee: $3,500 - $6,000 (depending on day of week and ceremony versus ceremony + reception)

Blooming Hill Farm

Where: Monroe, NY

Capacity: 150

Why: If you’re looking for a farm wedding with an excellent culinary experience, look no further. All the food is cooked on-site and is truly farm to table. Bonus: they grow their own flowers too!

Rental Fee: $3,000

Crabtree’s Kittle House

Where: Chappaqua, NY

Capacity: 250

Why: Built in the 1700’s for horses, this estate-like venue is works for all size groups. The wine cellar used to be the stables!

Rental Fee: $550 to add space for your ceremony, plus $150 per person for food and beverage

The Rhinecliff

Where: Rhinecliff, NY

Capacity: 150 people

Why: Your ceremony can take place overlooking the mountain in the Catskills, and then move inside the Victorian style boutique hotel for dinner and dancing.

Rental Fee: $500 to add space for your ceremony, plus $99-$150 per person for food and beverage

Mount Tremper Arts

Where: Phoenicia, NY

Capacity: 140 people

Why: If you’re looking for rustic meets modern, blank space, Mount Tremper Arts is a great choice. Located in Phoenicia, your guests will be just a few minutes away from Woodstock, making it a fun weekend getaway.

Rental Fee: $5,000

FEAST at Round Hill

Where: Washingtonville, NY

Capacity: 200

Why: Set on 12 acres of private land, surrounded by gardens, fountains and waterfalls, Round Hill is truly picturesque. November to April, on Fridays and Sundays are best for more intimate groups where the minimum guest count drops to 75 people. 

Rental Fee: Included with the cost per person which ranges from $80-$165.
